Can reduced property tax stimulate business?

What are the apposite steps to save your skin from the brunt of the ongoing global downturn? It is quite difficult to determine since there are only a few steps and that also depend on the surrounding circumstances. But there happens to be one common factor. It is the zeal to save the kith and kin along with the prospect. It doesn’t matter whether you are in India or the United States of America but this should be the foundation. Now, if you are a member of the mayor-in-council of your city, you can advise it to follow the footsteps of Sharon as well.

What has been the success story of Sharon so far and why should you follow it? The city council has decided to go for a wage tax increase and a real-estate tax reduction at the same time. In this context, very recently, the council voted 4-1 in favor of both although the subjects are obliged to go to second reading before a final vote. What was the consideration behind this thought? The Mayor of the city Bob Lucas seems to be quite certain and it is said that the entire proposal stemmed from his brainchild. According to him, the presence of the scheme of a steady tax reduction gives new life to the morbid business scenario. This, in turn, stimulates the entire infrastructure and saves a good number of jobs.

The same outlook came from Darin Flower, an esteemed member of the city council. According to him, this is a demand of the time and it seems that he is quite confident of the advantageousness or profitableness of the scheme. When asked he stated his confidence categorically and said that Sharon along with senior citizens would benefit to a large extent.

However, a section of citizens consider that the proposed rise in the wage tax from 1 percent to 2.25 percent was “a little aggressive.”

Are you going to implement any plan of similar mode?
