How can I save money? This question is not only haunting the people of third world countries but also of the most industrialized nations and strong economies. The economic crisis that has befallen in the international scenario has worried all of us (from millionaires to paupers) and for that reason we are trying our best to save money. What processes are we adopting therefore? The majority of us are concentrating on the reduction of monthly consumption of goods and also foods. But this is of no use since any such reduction can weaken our physical structures and we may have to expend more for treatments.
What can we do then? You can save the energy and as a consequence it can save your money. Have you got it? No! If you haven’t, listen to this carefully. A unique approach in this regard may be taken by the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission. It has been learnt that the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission is pondering over an idea and is set to present it in the upcoming legislative session. What is the idea? It would put forward the idea of going green across the state and according to its conviction this step would save money to a large extent.
According to Dusty Johnson, the Chairman of Public Utilities Commission, “Buildings are huge users of energy and a lot of our building stock in South Dakota is relatively old. If we can cut our energy usage by five percent, which wouldn’t be that difficult, that is going to put $50 million into the economy of South Dakota. That can be spent at the car dealerships, the hardware stores, it can be spent on education and just about everything else we want.”
In the words of the Chairman, a new age of energy savings can really start off provided that the state loans can help out pay for things like more energy efficient light bulbs in those buildings. But this is not all since more steps can be taken to save energy. It can be regarding more efficient boilers and the introduction of better insulating materials on the building envelope.
You can also follow the same.
