Selling of historic Montgomery Ward building gets inevitable

There is a distinct relationship between a city and its historical buildings. The prime of them is that these buildings happen to be the witnesses of the historical developments of the city and various ups and downs or periods of positive and negative events. For that reason, each and every building can be considered as the ideal specimen of bygone ages and it’s, therefore, the duty of citizens to retain them. However, in spite of all these, only a few cities in the global arena come forward to perform this noble duty. Who do remain absent and which buildings are neglected?

Well, there are innumerable buildings throughout the globe but one of them is, without doubt, downtown’s historic Montgomery Ward building. The building, according to the latest information, is under the clutch of foreclosure and it is going to be one of the hottest subjects at a public auction in March unless the owners crop up with $1.3 million. Is there any chance? As stated by the neighbors, once upon a time there was a strong hope but with the passing of days it is becoming a bleak prospect.

If we go through the documents which are known as notices of trustee’s sale, it will be found that owner of the building, Wards Olympia LLC is in default. What’s more, for this reason, it is scheduled to be put up for sale in front of the Thurston County Courthouse on March 13. Now there is a question. Isn’t the Wards Olympia LLC interested to recover Montgomery Ward Building? Nevertheless, there are Brian Myers of Seattle and John Leipheimer of Maple Valley as the members of Wards Olympia LLC but some facts are not cleared up till now.

What is the real cause behind the foreclosure? Whether it is regarding the absence of a tenant or it is costly to maintain, it is not clear. But it seems that, at this time, the owners are not getting interested to pay the requisite amount. What will happen? The historic Montgomery Ward building will be sold in that case.
