It has come to the knowledge that the 50th anniversary festivities of Bahamas Real Estate Association in the offing will be a gay festivity or gala affair and a number of agents along with Island Living Real Estate are going to participate in it. Nassau is the capital, largest city, and commercial centre of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and is located on the island of New Providence, which functions much like a federal district. What’s more, a week of activities will initiate on May 24 with an opening and special blessings for the event at St. Francis Xavier Parish Centre and will conclude on May 29 with a formal gala at Paradise Island.
Island Living Real Estate, which is well-known and proficient for dealing with Nassau waterfront property, has more than 25 years of experience in real estate sales and rentals. The company’s main office is located in one of Nassau’s oldest historic buildings on Bay Street, named “Red Roofs.” Red Roofs was built in 1896 and has been home to various families, a Gourmet Deli and now Island Living.
It has been learnt that Rachel Pinder, principal broker of Island Living serves on the BREA’s Investigative Committee and Developers Committee. In addition, she is a former BREA board member. Apart from this Island Living real estate broker Brenda Knowles serves on the Investigative Committee and is a former BREA vice president. Anthony Wells, a broker and appraiser at Island Living, serves on the Membership Committee and also is a former board member.
According to Rachel Pinder, membership in BREA is of utmost importance since it is required for real estate agents to be licensed as Realtors. “Besides that, BREA is an excellent professional organization to belong to because of its many continuing education opportunities,” she said.
BREA operates a Multiple Listing Service, which Island Living agents joined when it launched in March 2008. The MLS assists member Realtors in effectively marketing properties that are for sale by making them known to homebuyers and other real estate agents.
