WJREIA introduces Somerset County chapter

Have you ever heard of West Jersey Real Estate Investors Association (WJREIA) prior to now? Perhaps not and it is unlikely as well. Nevertheless, West Jersey Real Estate Investors Association (WJREIA) is a recognized and reputed nonprofit organization (to a certain extent) committed to educational activities paying attention on investment opportunities available in the real estate market and now it has brought to the fore the Somerset County chapter.

Before anything more is stated, the basic objective WJREIA ought to be stated evidently. The first and foremost aim is to learn from and exchange ideas with neighbors and neighboring colleagues and this has been made clear by none other than Ulka Rodgers, the organization’s president. Rodgers is a Readington resident and real estate investor with Leveraged Fractional Ownership.

On the word of Ulka Rodgers, “There are tremendous investment opportunities available today for people to capitalize on the meltdown of the real estate market.” “The mission of WJREIA is to bring people together who are interested in learning more about real estate investing, particularly given the opportunities in the current market. There are many statewide organizations that fill a similar role, and we are active in several, but the goal of WJREIA is really to learn from and network with our neighbors and nearby colleagues.”

It has also been conveyed by WJREIA officials that the first meeting of the Somerset chapter will be 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at Hotel Sierra Branchburg, 3141 Route 22 east, Branchburg and Somerset chapter will meet the second Tuesday of each month at the same time.

The guest speaker on Feb. 9 is Linda Grant of Sound Financial Solutions who will talk about “What Every Investor Should Know About Taxes.” Grant has in excess of 25 years of experience in financial services. What shall be the topics of meeting in future? These will include short sales, wholesaling, using IRA money to invest in real estate and tax-deferred 1031 exchanges.
